Mock Testing

In order to identify academic areas that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is requiring all districts to administer the STAAR test. PAISD has made the decision to proceed with all online testing for the 2020-21 STAAR Administration.

How Can You Get the Most out of Virtual College Fairs?

Virtual College Fairs are FREE and open to view for long periods of time. Unlike in-person fairs, you can search colleges by attributes that are important to you, return to watch recorded presentations later, and download materials from colleges...all from the comfort of home!

STAAR Testing Makeup Day

During today’s administration of the STAAR writing and English I STAAR EOC exam, the STAAR online testing platform experienced technical difficulties state-wide. Due to this system error, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has suspended online testing for today for those who were unable to continue.

Gov. Abbot and TEA Launch Supplemental Special Education Services

On October 21, 2020, Governor Abbott and TEA announced that they had established the Supplementary Special Education Services program designed to connect eligible students with severe cognitive disabilities to additional supports for the critical services they may require. The program helps connect these families to personalized services through a funded allocation, helping to offset learning disruptions due to COVID-19.

MHS and CATE Closed for Disinfecting

Per the district’s Reopening Plan, we will close down Memorial High School 10-12th Grade Campus and CATE buildings for five (5) days, beginning Thursday, October 22nd, in which a deep cleaning/disinfecting will take place.
